Job Description

As a System Validation Engineer at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited, you will be responsible for writing test specifications, test scripts, and executing tests on HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop test specifications and scripts for system requirement specifications
  • Execute tests on HIL systems and analyze results
  • Build knowledge on body electronics systems, including keyless go, external and interior lights, locking systems, and more
  • Write library functions and analyze test cases
  • Provide logs and discuss issues with suppliers and system responsible
Requirements:
  • Good command on body electronics functions, including wiper systems, sunroofs, door controls, and more
  • Ability to write test cases after understanding system requirements
  • Experience with dSPACE Simulators and SCALAXIO
  • Good knowledge of object-oriented programming
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Provetech, Python, or Perl
  • Understanding of OOPS concepts, handling arrays, MAP, parsing Excel, XML, and integrating third-party libraries and DLLs
  • Basic understanding of ECU communication protocols, such as CAN and LIN
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum 1 year of dedicated experience in HIL validation, scripting, and automation
