Job Title: Storage Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Storage Infrastructure Engineer to join our organization. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of storage solutions and be able to provide support for the day-to-day administration of SAN and storage environments.

  • Manage storage infrastructure, including collaboration with support teams and participation in problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • Support the design, operation, workflow, and issue resolution for storage infrastructure.
  • Maintain systems level maintenance for storage infrastructure and track existing storage usage trending and capacity planning for future growth.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage infrastructure events, including capacity management and monitoring of storage subsystem and SAN switch capacity.
  • Perform capacity analysis and analyze performance data and trends.
  • Investigate and diagnose raised problems or problem records for root cause analysis.
  • Interface with assigned engineers to manage the implementation of all additional storage infrastructure and storage services.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years experience in handling majority of activities mentioned in the scope above.
  • Experience in handling storage infrastructure and Brocade switches.
  • Exposure to Operations and Management activities on storage platforms, various Host O/S including basic cluster management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical certification is desirable.
