Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement EKS clusters for container orchestration
  • Deploy, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes workloads on EKS
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment and scaling
  • Monitor and troubleshoot EKS clusters and associated infrastructure
  • Implement security best practices for EKS clusters and workloads
  • Collaborate with the development team to optimize application performance on EKS
  • Implement and manage AWS services relevant to EKS such as IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch
  • Document EKS infrastructure and workflows
  • Participate in on-call rotation for EKS support
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience with Amazon EKS and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker
  • Experience with implementing CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications
  • Strong understanding of AWS services and concepts
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize EKS clusters and workloads
  • Knowledge of networking and security best practices in the cloud environment
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
