About the Role

We are seeking a Cloud Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud engineering, with experience in developing cloud solutions and cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage engineering expertise to lead the design process and provide thought leadership.
  • Support the implementation of cloud-based solutions throughout the organization.
  • Provide technical support to cloud-based solutions end-users and stakeholders.
  • Maintain the performance of cloud applications and solutions, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, developing cloud solutions, and cloud architecture.
  • Experience in developing and implementing cloud adoption plans and cloud application design.
  • Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in the financial services industry, understanding of the role of custodial and consumer banks.
  • Experience managing sensitive financial data.
  • Experience with VMware, vSAN, AWS, Azure, OpenStack, NSX, SDN, etc.
  • Agile development environment experience.
  • Cybersecurity experience or coursework.
  • Infrastructure architecture experience, cloud-applications to infrastructure.
Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Experience in CI/CD Tooling, Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, Terraform, Ansible, Python, Chaos Engineering Tooling, RedHat, Linux, Windows, VPC, Firewalls, IAM, Encryption.
  • Proficiency with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch or DataDog.
  • Cost management: Optimizing Cloud spend using tools like Apptio, AWS Cost Explorer, or azure cost management.
  • Proficiency in languages like Python, Go, Terraform for automation and tooling, Familiarity with Cloud SDKs and APIs.
  • Infrastructure as Code IaC, Containerization (Openshift, EKS, AKS).
