About the Role:As a Sport Psychologist at Inspire Institute of Sport, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mental well-being and psychological development of our athletes. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to implement psychological strategies that enhance performance, foster mental resilience, and ensure a supportive environment for athletes at all levels.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sport psychology strategies and policies that align with IIS's mission of creating world-class athletes ready to achieve success on the global stage.
- Conduct psychological assessments, deliver tailored support, and monitor athletes' progress in training and competition settings.
- Collaborate with coaches to develop individual athlete development plans that align with training and performance goals.
- Advise coaches on incorporating psychological development into performance plans and training sessions.
- Develop and oversee the sport's mental health strategy, including psychological screening, clinical referrals, and care-plan implementation.
- Provide specialized support for female athlete health, addressing challenges such as identity, eating disorders, competitive stress, injury, burnout, and substance use.
- Ensure availability and psychological support for athletes during training sessions and competitions.
- Master's degree in psychology (e.g., Sport, Clinical, Organizational, Neuropsychology) or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in high-performance sport across various sports or levels of the athlete pathway.
- Proven track record of delivering successful sport psychology interventions.
- Expertise in planning, periodizing, and managing athletes across seasons to achieve medal-winning performances.
- Strong knowledge of various sport psychology methods and clinical awareness.
The estimated annual salary for this role is ₹1,500,000 - ₹2,500,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
