About the Role:

  • Manage and maintain complex Windows and Linux server environments to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Develop and implement robust security policies and controls to protect server infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Respond to and resolve security incidents, including investigating breaches, analyzing logs, and applying remediation measures.
  • Prioritize and manage patch management processes to ensure timely application of security patches and updates.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of server configurations, security policies, incident responses, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and secure IT systems, and provide training and awareness on best practices for secure server operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in server administration, with significant expertise in both Windows and Linux environments, and a strong focus on security.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, services, and infrastructure, as well as scripting and automation skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), or similar certifications will be added advantage.
