Job Description:

  • The Senior Mobile Tester will be responsible for defining the scope of testing within the context of each release or delivery.
  • This includes providing status to the Test Lead/Manager, supporting the testing team, and working closely with Business Analysts, functional leads, and development teams.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in the e-commerce domain with expertise in both mobile and web testing.
  • They should also possess good experience in API testing, comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its methodologies, and proficiency in writing and executing test plans and test cases.
  • In addition, the successful candidate will be able to identify test scenarios, estimate test effort, and create test plans.
  • They should also have working experience with Jira and Agile-driven projects, as well as good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • A strong written and communication skillset is essential for this role, along with the ability to interact with technical teams to convert functional requirements into test specifications.
  • The Senior Mobile Tester will be expected to prepare test data, develop test cases, and execute tests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills are required to meet project deadlines and ensure high-quality results.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define the scope of testing within the context of each release/delivery
  • Provide status to the Test Lead/Manager
  • Support testing team
  • Work closely with BA's, functional lead and Development team
  • Support in Test Planning, and managing the testing effort for any given release
  • Design Test scenarios and Test Cases
  • Bug Tracking and Reporting
  • Defect Coordination

Requirements:

  • Experience in e-commerce domain with expertise in mobile and web testing
  • Good experience in API testing
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SDLC and its methodologies
  • Proficient in writing and executing test plans and test cases
  • Solid hands-on experience in Integration Testing, Functional Testing, Black Box Testing, User Acceptance Testing, System Testing, Smoke Testing, and Regression Testing
  • Able to identify test scenarios, estimate test effort, and create test plans
  • Working experience with Jira and Agile-driven projects
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Ability to interact with technical team to convert functional requirement to test specs
  • Experienced in preparing test data, Preparation of test cases and Test execution
