Job Title: Medical Data Specialist

As a medical data specialist, you will play a vital role in reviewing and analyzing medical documents. Your attention to detail and knowledge of regulatory standards will ensure the accuracy and compliance of these documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review medical documents against regulatory standards to determine the appropriate status: Approved, Disapproved, or Requires Additional Information.
  • Evaluate each document for completeness and adherence to guidelines.
  • Communicate clearly with students regarding disapproved or incomplete documentation, citing specific deficiencies and next steps.
  • Collaborate with peers and leadership to support a high-functioning review process.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
  • Complete reviews with high accuracy, ensuring adherence to turnaround time expectations.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and other applicable compliance standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written) with strong communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of computers, online platforms, and document management systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to interpret medical documentation requirements.
