Graphic Designer & Video Editor Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a driven and charismatic Graphic Designer & Video Editor to lead all design-related activities and help expand our network and impact.

  • This is a permanent work-from-home opportunity that offers flexibility and autonomy.

The ideal candidate will be one with knowledge of the latest designs and software, a team player, and an excellent communicator who would be able to take directions from written or spoken ideas and translate them into captivating designs that connect.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop creative and innovative design concepts, layouts, and visual assets for various projects.
  2. Utilize industry-standard graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other relevant tools to create and edit designs.
  3. Conduct research and gather inspiration from various sources to stay informed about design trends, industry best practices, and competitor analysis.
  4. Produce content to be posted on social media platforms.
  5. Establish creative direction for the company within brand guidelines.
  6. Creation of video concepts such as promotional videos, short videos (reels) for brand awareness, ongoing promotions, in-clinic experience, testimonials, etc.
  7. Edit and manipulate video footage to create visually engaging and cohesive videos for YouTube and other Social media channels.
  8. Understand the narrative and objectives of the video content and develop a storytelling approach through effective sequencing and editing techniques.
  9. Edit and mix audio elements, including dialogue, music, and sound effects, to ensure high-quality audio for video projects.
  10. Work with copywriters and the creative director to produce the final design.
  11. Handle camera on some occasions and capture footage as and when required for the video content.
  12. Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
  13. Competitive analysis and making sure to create content according to the latest market trends.
  14. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  15. Create social media assets including post graphics, gifs and mini videos.
  16. Design templates for brochures, flyers, and pdfs and build branded collaterals from PPTs, case study PDFs, banners, ad graphics and more
  17. Help maintain the website with building new pages and optimize the old pages.
Requirements:
  1. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other relevant tools.
  2. Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, layout composition, and video editing techniques.
  3. Creative thinking and the ability to translate concepts into visually appealing designs and engaging videos.
  4. Attention to detail and a strong eye for aesthetics.
  5. Ability to manage multiple tasks related to designing simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  6. Adaptability and willingness to incorporate feedback and make revisions as needed.
  7. Knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects, and audio editing is a plus.
