We are looking for an experienced Ecommerce Frontend Lead Architect to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our frontend development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex front-end architectures, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and user-centric ecommerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:">

  • Lead the frontend development efforts for large-scale ecommerce projects, defining and implementing best practices in architecture and code quality.">
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product owners, and backend developers to ensure seamless integration and alignment between design, frontend, and backend components.">
  • Architect and develop responsive, performant, and maintainable frontend solutions using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.">
  • Provide technical leadership in planning and executing frontend development, including ensuring cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.">
  • Optimize frontend performance, applying techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, and caching to improve load times and user experience.">
  • Ensure the implementation of WCAG accessibility standards and SEO best practices across the frontend applications.">
  • Guide the team in building reusable components and establishing scalable frontend architecture for future development.">
  • Integrate frontend solutions with ecommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, or Shopify.">
  • Manage frontend codebase versioning, deployments, and build processes using tools like Git, Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.">
  • Mentor and coach junior frontend developers, providing code reviews, architectural guidance, and leadership.">
  • Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies, frameworks, and tools to ensure the team leverages best practices and industry trends.">

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of professional experience in frontend development and architecture, with at least 3-5 years working on ecommerce platforms.">
  • Expertise in frontend technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.">
  • Experience with Node.js for server-side development, API integration, and building scalable, high-performance applications.">
  • Experience in integrating frontend with RESTful APIs and headless CMS/eCommerce systems.">
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, Shopify, etc.) and their frontend customization.">
  • Proven experience with responsive web design and mobile-first development.">
  • Deep knowledge of performance optimization techniques (minification, compression, lazy loading, etc.).">
  • Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.">
  • Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and frontend build processes.">
  • In-depth understanding of web security best practices, including XSS, CSRF, and secure authentication.">
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.">
  • Experience leading a team of developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.">
  • Knowledge of Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) and Single Page Applications (SPAs).">
  • Familiarity with SEO optimization and WCAG accessibility standards.">
  • Experience working with headless ecommerce architectures and CMS platforms.">
