Visual Identity Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned Visual Identity Strategist to spearhead the visual identity of our direct-to-consumer beauty brand. This role encompasses the creation and implementation of premium designs that connect with consumers, build brand loyalty, and seamlessly integrate across various touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Packaging Design: Own the end-to-end design process for packaging, ensuring it aligns with brand strategy and resonates with target audiences.
  • Consistent Brand Image: Develop and maintain a cohesive brand image across all consumer interactions.
  • Social Media Content: Lead the design of engaging social media content, ad creatives, landing pages, emailers, and influencer kits that drive conversions and foster brand awareness.
  • Campaign Execution: Collaborate with product and marketing teams to bring campaigns to life with compelling visuals that capture consumer attention.
  • Innovative Design Concepts: Translate consumer insights and brand strategy into cutting-edge design ideas that propel the brand forward.
  • Mentorship and Feedback: Guide junior designers and freelancers, providing creative direction and feedback to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay abreast of design, beauty, and direct-to-consumer trends to keep the brand fresh, competitive, and relevant in the market.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Graphic Designer, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing branding, packaging, and digital campaign design expertise.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); bonus points if you're familiar with Figma/Canva.
  • Experience designing for D2C, beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands.
  • The ability to balance creativity with commercial goals, such as conversion, engagement, and retention.
  • A keen eye for typography, color palettes, and visual storytelling.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
