Video Content Editor Job

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented video content editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for video editing and a strong background in the field.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Edit video content across various formats, transforming raw footage into polished, professional, and engaging course videos that enhance the learning experience.
  • Refine footage with cutting, color correction, sound design, transitions, and motion graphics to create visually appealing and informative videos.
  • Interpret scripts and creative briefs to build engaging visual narratives that capture the audience's attention.
  • Support on video shoots when needed, operating cameras, setting up lighting, and framing shots.
  • Add motion elements such as text overlays, animated graphics, and effects to enhance storytelling and make videos more engaging.
  • Ensure platform-specific edits are optimized for YouTube, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
  • Maintain organized project files, backups, and versioning workflows to ensure smooth collaboration and efficient production.
  • Collaborate with the creative team on timelines, creative direction, and revisions to deliver high-quality videos that meet project objectives and brand guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in video editing, preferably in an agency or content-focused brand setup.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro or similar programs.
  • Solid understanding of post-production workflows, storytelling, pacing, and transitions.
  • Experience with color grading, audio balancing, and creating platform-ready final exports.
  • Basic knowledge of camera gear, lighting, and on-set best practices.
  • Ability to take feedback constructively and make quick turnarounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • A portfolio showcasing a range of editing work across formats is mandatory.
