Portfolio Strategist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Strategist to join our team. As a Portfolio Strategist, you will play a key role in enhancing business growth through strategic portfolio analysis and innovative product development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify novel product opportunities across small molecule therapies, leveraging medical and marketing feasibility insights.
  • Conduct comprehensive secondary market data analysis to understand available opportunities across various therapies.
  • Preliminary IP landscaping of products, considering patents globally.
  • Develop and update business cases for new products proposed for portfolio selection meetings.
  • Monitor market updates, including label expansions, competition entries, safety warnings, and quarterly sales for innovator brands.
  • Perform competitor analysis to stay abreast of market trends.
  • Explore in-licensing opportunities to drive business growth.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the IP landscape in pharma markets.
  • Good knowledge of pharma regulations in US, EU, and Emerging markets.
  • Formulation selection process expertise, including commercial forecasting and fitment with MSN technical capabilities.
  • Forecasting, patient funneling, and pricing strategy understanding.
  • Data platforms expertise, including IQVIA, Corelli's, IPD analytics, and Global data.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with Excel and PowerPoint command.

Education Qualification: M. Pharm/ M.Sc Chemistry/ MBA (preferably from Tier I Institute / University)

Work Experience: 3 to 5 years in Portfolio, Strategy and/or IPM
