Job Title: Senior Oracle APEX Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle APEX Developer to join our team at Intuceo. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX) to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom APEX applications to meet business requirements
  • Oversee the complete software development lifecycle, including planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment of APEX applications
  • Enhance APEX applications for optimal performance, scalability, and security
  • Build intuitive user interfaces using APEX components
  • Integrate APEX applications with third-party systems and APIs
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to APEX applications
  • Collaborate closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high standards and best practices
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in Oracle APEX application development
  • Excellent understanding of Oracle Database, including creating PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, and exception handling
  • Strong skills in SQL and PL/SQL for developing complex code units
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, and jQuery for creating dynamic user interfaces
  • Knowledge of JSON and RESTful web services, with experience in integrating applications with third-party systems
