Backend Developer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing backend systems that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and developing high-quality backend systems using SFCC JavaScript, SFRA, OOP, and RESTful web services.
  • Implementing headless commerce solutions and integrating them with Salesforce API, including Einstein applications.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of backend systems with frontend components.
  • Developing and maintaining robust APIs and data models that meet business requirements.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of SFCC JavaScript, SFRA, OOP, and RESTful web services.
  • Experience in headless commerce and Salesforce API, including Einstein applications.
  • Proficient in using Pipelines, JS controllers, ISML templates, and web services for real-time data exchange.
  • Hands-on experience in integrating custom services into SFCC.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

  • 5+ years of Java or JavaScript experience with strong OOP and database knowledge.
  • 2+ years of XML data import/export experience.
  • Strong multitasking, initiative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and passionate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of SFCC experience and certified SFCC Developer.
  • Experience in B2B, B2C, multi-site, and multi-country SFCC implementations.
  • Led at least 1 SFCC implementation and participated in 2 more.
