Job Title: Inventory Management Specialist

As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing foundational data, including items, locations, suppliers, and HTS codes. This involves handling domestic and foreign purchase orders, as well as managing inventory through transfers, receipts, adjustments, and stock counts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels, supplier information, and HTS codes.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that may arise during the import process.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify missing, duplicate, or erroneous data and implement corrective actions to rectify any discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve inventory management efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of inventory management with other business operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, with a strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting deadlines and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience with inventory management software.
