Job Description

The Senior Lead will be responsible for designing, leading and executing solutions to implement Manufacturing eXecution (MxP) - Production Management solutions at the Giga Factory and Batch Industries. The technical requirements are fully defined and agreed upon, ensuring integration of multiple products with performance criteria within schedule and cost constraints.

  • Manage the development of functional and conceptual technical design specifications, provide technical support and expertise for multiple disciplines;">
  • Gather requirements and provide demos/Proof of Concept on built functionality;">
  • Work with Project Managers to gather requirements and build required solutions (configure, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions) as per customer Request For Quote (RFQ), including solution performance guarantee;">
  • Manage MxP - Production Management solution activities for multiple projects within stipulated deadlines, ensuring designed solutions meet project requirements in terms of functionality, standards, quality, and supporting documentation, and implementation process at minimum cost by allocating work assignments to project / services teams / vendor teams;">
  • Proactively recommend solutions to potential quality issues and resolve integration issues that may arise;">
  • Participate in brainstorming discussions to build better solutions for customers.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

- 10-15 years experience in designing and implementing in-house Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in manufacturing domains such as Paper and Pulp, Giga Factory, Aluminium, Steel, Films Refining, Oil and Gas, Chemical, Power, and Mining Industries;

- Hands-on coding web service client and familiar with services created using Java/.Net framework;

- Proficient with Asp.Net, C#, VB.Net, WCF, SQL, Oracle Server, and relational database concepts;

">

- Excellent expertise in SQL and able to optimize SQL views/stored procedures, independently mine data to translate business data needs into creative visualizations;

">

- Good understanding of tools used for Version Control Systems and Continuous Integration Tools;

">

- Familiar with Agile Development Methodology (Development Lifecycle) and interfacing with SAP, Maximo, other third-party business systems, and business applications;

- Having experience in Enterprise Application Troubleshooting is an added advantage;

">

- Openness to study/learn Proprietary Language, new technologies on demand through websites and implement them as per project requirements;

- Knowledge of testing methods is an added advantage;

- Knowledge of Giga Factory is an added advantage.
