Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Data Scientist to lead our data science group. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of data scientists and developing innovative solutions to complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of data scientists who can design, develop, and implement cutting-edge analytics solutions.
  • Statistical Modeling and Machine Learning: Develop and implement statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to create scalable solutions that address business challenges across various industry domains.
  • Data Storytelling: Create compelling business stories and presentations through data inferential analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Data Model Development: Define, develop, maintain, and evolve data models, tools, and capabilities to support business growth.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate findings to diverse stakeholders through visualizations and clear, concise insights.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and foster a culture of innovation.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related technical fields.
  • Experience: 8+ years of total experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a related position as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer, building predictive analytics and machine learning solutions for various business problems.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, Python programming, strong individual planning and project management skills, and ability to convert analytical output into clear, concise insights and recommendations.
