Financial Analyst Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing timely and accurate financial data.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business growth and profitability.
  • Tracking and reporting key financial metrics, such as CAC, LTV, gross margins, etc.
  • Overseeing day-to-day bookkeeping and monthly closures to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory regulations.
  • Preparing accurate Management Information Systems (MIS) and financial statements.
  • Monitoring marketing spends and ROI to optimize investment decisions.
  • Analyzing costs and driving operational efficiency to improve profitability.
  • Managing cash flow forecasting, vendor payments, and reconciliations to maintain a healthy financial position.
  • Overseeing inventory finance to ensure optimal asset utilization.
  • Supporting financial projections, board decks, and due diligence to inform strategic business decisions.
Requirements for Success

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A CA or MBA degree in Finance or an equivalent qualification.
  • 3–6 years of experience in finance roles, preferably in D2C, e-commerce, FMCG, or retail.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, taxation, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, financial modeling, and MIS.
  • Exposure to ERP systems, such as Zoho, SAP, Oracle, etc.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
