  • Develop and implement technical solutions for sales offers and customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with sales managers on sizing and costing of technical offers.
  • Monitor projects and ensure proper technical support is provided to assembly/service support teams and customers.
  • Provide engineering management and technical analysis of projects, including design, calculation, component specification, cost estimation, and technical service.
  • Participate in conceptual design and development for innovative/upgraded solutions as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Interface with coworkers and customers during design, development, implementation activities, and delivery cycles associated with equipment build.
  • Support assembly factory/assembly lines in addressing challenges related to equipment fabrication/assembly/quality/tests, installation, and commissioning.
  • Compile technical/design and administrative dossiers/docs for all customer accounts.
  • Review engineering and design for future planning in line with company strategy plans.
">Qualifications and Technical Competencies:">
  • Bachelor/Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Design.
  • Design and analysis of mechanical/electrical structures/low/high/ultra-high vacuum systems.
  • High Pressure Vessel design/construction.
  • High Temperature Hot Zone design/construction.
  • Heating Elements/Heat-Shield or Insulation design and construction.
  • Heat Exchanger design/construction.
  • Hot-zone support structure/Hearth bar design/construction.
  • Knowledge about Heat treatment, brazing, carburizing, hardening, annealing, melting, etc.
  • Knowledge and application of various types of materials, surface and thermal treatments for low/high/ultra-high vacuum.
  • Hands-on aptitude with an understanding of standard design practices and manufacturing techniques.
  • Advanced skills in 2D & 3D CAD software - preferably AutoCAD and Inventor or Solid Works.
  • 3D design for vacuum chambers and systems.
  • Knowledge and application of numerical modelling in solid mechanics.
  • Thermal exchange calculation/Computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
  • Finite Element Method (FEM) and Thermo-mechanical simulations analysis.
  • Working knowledge of pneumatics, vacuum process systems, electrical components, and automation.
