Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage electrical and mechanical systems, including substations, transformers, UPS, lifts, DG sets, chillers, air conditioning, BMS, fire services, and water/electricity supplies during your shift.
  • Customer Support: Address customer requests and complaints, report to the management office, and liaise with vendors to resolve issues.
  • Shift Handovers: Manage smooth communication between shifts, maintain logbooks and checklists, and ensure efficient handovers.
  • Safety and Maintenance: Ensure maintenance activities are conducted as scheduled, with a focus on safety standards. Develop and implement safety guidelines for electrical equipment and building facilities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the shift team, including BMS, Power, Infra, and HVAC personnel. Provide guidance and resolve shift-related issues.
  • Incident Response: Respond to on-site breakdowns and emergencies, ensuring rapid response and minimal downtime. Implement corrective actions and escalate incidents as necessary.
  • Performance Optimization: Work to optimize operations, ensuring energy efficiency, security, and overall data center maintenance. Prepare reports on operational metrics such as uptime and power consumption.
