Embedded Software Leader Position

As the Embedded Systems Lead, you will oversee the design, development, and integration of all embedded software and system-level features for a smart camera system. You will drive the platform bring-up, camera system development, wireless communication integration, and low-power optimization in collaboration with a cross-functional hardware and software team.

  • Oversight is provided for the full embedded software stack for the smart camera system.
  • Leadership is given to board bring-up and BSP development for custom hardware.
  • Development and integration of Linux kernel drivers for camera, wireless, and sensors are performed.
  • Integration and debugging of Wi-Fi, Zigbee, LoRa wireless communication protocols are implemented.
  • Leadership is given to the development of camera subsystem drivers (MIPI CSI-2, ISP tuning, V4L2).
  • Low-power operation, sleep modes, and battery monitoring features are implemented.
  • Coordination with the hardware team is conducted for hardware-software co-design and power optimization.
  • Development of interfaces for Edge AI inference pipelines (TensorFlow Lite or similar) is performed.
  • Debugging of complex system issues using JTAG, logic analyzers, and embedded logging is done.
  • Documentation of system architecture, APIs, and mentorship to junior team members is provided.
