Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and manage highly scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

This role involves developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, designing and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery, and architecting, deploying, and managing Kubernetes (GKE) clusters and containerized applications. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing and enforcing cloud security best practices, including IAM, firewalls, and encryption, as well as troubleshooting and resolving complex platform, networking, and infrastructure issues across distributed systems.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure adherence to cloud best practices and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Staying up-to-date with GCP innovations and suggesting improvements for platform engineering practices is also a key aspect of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Serverless, Data Services).
  • Strong background in Platform Engineering and DevOps methodologies.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes (GKE) and container orchestration.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VPC, subnets, firewalls, ingress/egress traffic).
  • Proven experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security tools (e.g., GCP Secret Manager, IAM policies).
  • Experience with Docker, containerization, and multi-stage Docker builds.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
