Job Overview

A highly experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer is needed to manage infrastructure automation, cloud-native environments, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform across cloud environments.
  • Cloud-Native Environments: Configure and administer Kubernetes clusters (GKE) including Helm charts and workload deployments.
  • Containerization: Manage containerization platforms (Docker) and optimize image build strategies.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Harness, or equivalent tools.
  • Deployment Strategies: Collaborate with developers to implement deployment strategies for high-availability and high-change-rate application environments.
  • System Administration: Manage Linux system administration and networking within hybrid/cloud infrastructures.
  • Monitoring & Observability: Implement and maintain cloud-native monitoring and observability using tools such as Splunk Observability, OpenTelemetry, and Synthetics.
Professional Qualifications:
  • Experience: 7+ years of overall experience, with 5+ years in DevOps/Cloud Engineering.
  • Terraform Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Linux Fundamentals: Solid expertise in Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.
  • GCP Services: Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
  • Kubernetes Administration: Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (GKE) administration, Helm charts, and container orchestration.
  • Docker Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker containerization.
  • CIDM Automation: Strong understanding of CI/CD automation, preferably with GitHub Actions or Harness.
  • Deployment Strategies: Knowledge of deployment strategies (blue-green, rolling, canary).
  • Monitoring Tools: Proficiency in monitoring/observability tools (Splunk Observability, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
Good to Have:
  • Multi-Cloud Experience: Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
  • Security Best Practices: Experience with security best practices in DevOps (secrets management, IAM, compliance).
  • Scripting Languages: Familiarity with scripting/programming languages (Python, Go, or Shell scripting).
  • SRE Principles: Understanding of site reliability engineering (SRE) principles.
