Linux Kernel Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in C programming and Unix/Linux OS concepts to join our cutting-edge technology firm.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in developing Linux/Unix OS subsystems such as schedulers, drivers, and virtualization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Backporting features from the Linux vanilla kernel to leading Linux distributions
  • Troubleshooting and fixing customer issues
  • Identifying and automating workloads to improve overall process efficiency

Technical Requirements:

  • Excellent programming skills in C
  • Strong understanding of Unix/Linux OS concepts, including scheduler, memory management, device drivers, networking, system calls, locking mechanisms, and performance tools development
  • Experience in developing Linux/Unix OS subsystems, such as schedulers, drivers, RAS, security, networking drivers, kernel performance optimization, and system tools
  • Experience in KVM/QEMU virtualization development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Self-management and ability to learn and adapt quickly
