Job Description

As a seasoned legal professional, you will bring strategic insight and negotiation prowess to drive business success. Your expertise in contract management, international arbitration, and dispute resolution will be essential in navigating complex global operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • International Arbitration: Lead and manage international arbitration proceedings, ensuring alignment with global standards and corporate interests.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate high-value commercial contracts, including vetting for compliance and enforceability.
  • Claims & Risk Mitigation: Review and manage legal claims, analyse potential liabilities, and implement strategies for cost reduction and risk mitigation.
  • Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Oversee litigation matters, coordinate with external counsel, and represent the company in legal forums.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of post-qualification experience in a large manufacturing company.
  • Strong understanding of international arbitration, maritime claims, and commercial law.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex negotiations and legal risk in a dynamic business environment.
