About the Role:

This is a test role focused on the new generation Endpoint products within Forcepoint. As a Software Quality Assurance Specialist II, you will develop test strategies, execute end-to-end customer-driven test cases, and work closely with a global development team to deliver high-quality products. This role will be heavy on manual testing aspects of quality assurance and compatibility testing.

What You'll Do:

  • Write and execute detailed test cases to ensure that information systems and services meet standards and end-user requirements.
  • Analyze functional documents, plan, and create test cases, reviewing requirements and test cases.
  • Execute tests for concurrency testing with the latest OS, Browser, and 3rd-party products.
  • Collaborate across site boundaries to share test practices with low-level and system test engineers.
  • Configure workstations, operating environments, and the system under test, as needed to complete assigned testing.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Work closely with a globally distributed group of stakeholders and remote development teams to ensure that all endpoint consumers get high-quality components on schedule.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in software performance testing or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of any Test Management Tool like Xray, etc.
  • Experience working in Agile methodologies.
  • Strong background and experience in software testing methodology, testing processes, test development, and test execution.
  • Have a solid grasp of core security fundamentals and concepts.
  • Previous testing experience within the security industry.
  • Exposure to virtualization.
