Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our data governance efforts with Collibra. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding the current data governance structure of the organization and drafting a comprehensive charter and operating model with clearly defined roles and responsibilities.

  • Develop a data governance charter that outlines the organization's approach to managing its data assets.
  • Design an operating model that ensures effective data governance across all levels of the organization.
  • Establish a data glossary with clear definitions and mappings between logical and physical elements.
  • Configure Collibra communities, domains, types, attributes, status, articulation, workflow, and customize attribution.
  • Prioritize data domains for governance based on business value and ease of implementation.
  • Define roles and responsibilities governing communities and assets within the Collibra environment.
  • Recommend and implement workflows to govern metadata.
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify key business terms from shared documents to be showcased in Collibra as part of the business glossary.
  • Document best practices and provide training to stakeholders.
