**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Underwriting Analyst to join our team. As an Underwriting Analyst, you will be responsible for underwriting and locating investment opportunities using market comparables to determine accurate rent, value, and initial bid price for single-family assets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite each piece of property build including rent, capex, HOA, property taxes and as-repaired values with high accuracy.
  • Centrally participate in the acquisition of single-family homes by tracking the assets through various phases of the deal lifecycle.
  • Understand the market nuances and apply them in underwriting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, specialty focus in Real Estate or Finance a plus.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in underwriting, brokerage, or other real estate related disciplines.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Top-ranked performer with a track record of success (academic, professional).
  • Strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with internal and external professionals.
  • Candidate should be extremely detail-oriented and organized with a proven ability to work well in a high-intensity environment to complete tasks quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while delivering a high-quality product under tight time constraints.
  • Desire to work on a highly collaborative, fast-paced team.
