The selected candidate will support the transition of back-office operations and accounting processes from one system to another.
- Configure and validate new accounting modules for accurate general ledger entries on bonds, derivatives, and other products.
- Perform setup and maintenance of accounting data for bonds, derivatives, and other products.
- Assist in designing and executing test cases for end-to-end processes on accounting use cases.
- Perform testing on accounting workflows, including trade lifecycle events, accruals, amortizations, and settlement to ensure accurate accounting and reporting in compliance with financial reporting standards.
- Provide expertise in accounting processes, including automation for general ledger reconciliation, analytics, and reporting of derivatives and fixed-income products.
- 5+ years of experience working with accounting systems and processes.
- Professional Accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Hands-on expertise in accounting software and tools.
- Expertise in validations, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, including GL reconciliation and financial reporting.
