ServiceNow Strategist

The ServiceNow SPM Specialist will be responsible for designing and developing solutions on the ITSM/ITOM modules using best practices. This includes partnering with the ServiceNow Business Analyst to understand requirements and possible solutions, taking ownership of complex business requirements, and working them to completion.

This role requires expertise in Strategic Planning Workspace (SPW), Portfolio planning, goal management, hybrid capacity planning, servicenow Goal Framework for SPM: Aligning work to strategic objectives and tracking progress, Demand Management: Centralizing and prioritizing enterprise requests, Portfolio Project Management (PPM): Aligning projects with business goals and managing execution, Enterprise Agile Planning (EAP): Supporting agile transformation with hybrid work item planning, Collaborative Work Management (CWM): Enabling cross-functional task management and real-time collaboration.

Additionally, the ServiceNow SPM Specialist will have expertise in integrating generative AI into SPM, including Now Assist for SPM (Pro Plus), AI-assisted business case creation, Feedback summarization, Email project summaries, AI agents for decision support, servicenow.

The ideal candidate will require skills in JavaScript & Glide APIs, Flow Designer & Workflow Editor, Service Portal & UI Builder, REST/SOAP APIs, servicenow. They will need to develop reports and dashboards using core ServiceNow functionality, load, manipulate and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems, and develop and maintain clear and concise technical and process documentation.

In terms of certifications and training, the ServiceNow SPM Specialist will need to hold a range of qualifications, including SPM Implementer Certification, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), and Agile Implementer Certification.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with project team members. They will participate and provide feedback during planning meetings and retrospectives, ensuring effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
