Software Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer to join our team. This role involves working closely with the hardware/software interface to enable management of a fleet of devices in tomorrow's data center environments.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in board management controllers, low-level drivers and be able to mentor a team of engineers.

Detailed Job Description
  • Design, develop and implement software for board management controllers and orchestration software.
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to a sizable team of engineers.
  • Review and interpret customer requirements/specifications.
  • Analyze trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions.
  • Develop project plans and identify potential risks.
  • Develop deployment strategies and plans.
  • Manage relationships with key vendors/partners.
  • Design and develop tests and test-automation suites.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong C programming skills.
  • In-depth understanding of Linux kernel, device drivers, IPC and U-boot.
  • Familiarity with Linux application development.
  • Knowledge of Redfish and other management protocols.
  • Experience with board bringup.
  • Working knowledge of common buses such as I2C, IPMB, PMBUS, SPI, LPC and UART.

A bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required for this position.
