Top-10 Retail is a leading retail chain in Mumbai with an extensive presence of over 90 stores across the city, Thane, and Navi Mumbai. Holding a significant market share in the mobile phone sector, we have recently expanded our business to include TVs and Laptops.

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Recruiter to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for operational and non-office-based roles within our retail sector. These positions include store associates, stock handlers, delivery personnel, and other frontline workers who drive the success of our retail operations. Your primary responsibilities will involve managing the entire recruitment process, from identifying staffing needs to candidate onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing requirements across various retail locations.
  • Source candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, and direct outreach.
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure they meet job requirements and align with our company culture.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, manage candidate communication, and provide feedback to both hiring managers and candidates.
  • Manage candidate databases and track the recruitment process using our applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Conduct reference checks, background verification, and other pre-employment processes.
  • Assist in developing job descriptions, job advertisements, and interview questions tailored to specific retail roles.
  • Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Participate in career fairs, campus recruitment drives, and other outreach activities to source a consistent pipeline of candidates.
  • Monitor and report on recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the retail industry or for operational roles.
  • Experience recruiting for retail positions (store associates, delivery staff, warehouse personnel, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment platforms, including job boards, LinkedIn, Job Hai, and other sourcing tools.
  • Ability to evaluate candidate suitability for operational roles and retail environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage effectively with candidates from diverse backgrounds.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • A proactive approach to sourcing and problem-solving.
