Job Title: Advanced Data Streaming Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cluster Deployment and Management: Deploy, upgrade, and configure production-grade Kafka clusters to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and optimal performance.
  • Automated Cluster Setup: Utilize tools like Ansible and Chef to automate the installation and configuration of Kafka clusters, reducing manual intervention and increasing efficiency.
  • Critical Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot critical production issues, leveraging expertise in Kafka performance optimization and minimizing downtime through proactive measures.
  • Data Replication and Recovery: Configure MirrorMaker for effective data replication between two data centers, ensuring seamless disaster recovery capabilities.
  • Real-Time Monitoring and Management: Deploy and manage Provectus Kafka UI on a Kubernetes cluster for real-time monitoring and management of Kafka infrastructure.
  • Integration and Scalability: Integrate Schema Registry and deploy multiple Kafka Connectors to facilitate seamless data flow and scalable data storage.
  • User Onboarding and Security: Manage ACL permissions, create topics, and implement end-to-end security with SSL/TLS to onboard new users efficiently and securely.
  • Infrastructure Design and Optimization: Design and manage Kafka infrastructure to enhance message processing efficiency, partitioning, replication, and retention policies.
  • Performance Testing and Analysis: Conduct performance testing to optimize Kafka configurations and integrate with ELK Stack and Solr for scalable data storage and analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Qualifications: BE, BTech, MCA, and MCS degrees only.

Required Skills: Proficiency in Kafka clusters, MirrorMaker, Kafka Streams, Schema Registry, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Monitoring & Logging, Programming & Scripting, and Shell Scripting.

Experience:

Minimum 3+ years of experience in data streaming and management.

Location:

Bangalore.
