Cloud Infrastructure Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to lead our cloud infrastructure team. This role involves providing 24x7 managed support for our cloud environments, overseeing a team and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strategic partnerships to identify opportunities and drive growth.
  • Ensure timely resolution of complex technical issues by collaborating with the DevOps and engineering teams.
  • Oversee a team of Cloud Engineers, providing technical guidance and expertise as needed.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalated customer issues and resolve them through hands-on approach.
  • Collaborate with customers through tickets, calls, emails, and regular sync-up meetings.
  • Evaluate team member performance and provide feedback to the team and HR.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud-first data centers or cloud support services organizations.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, containers, virtualization, and its supporting technologies and concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, MySQL, Vmware/KVM, and on-premises cloud technology.
  • Proficient in monitoring systems such as Prometheus/Nagios/Zabbix/SolarWinds/ManageEngine.
  • Good understanding of Storage, Networking, Backup, and Bash.
  • Excellent communication skills with clear verbal and written articulation.
  • Experience managing a team of at least 4 people in this role.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience.
