Interior Projects Specialist Job Description

We seek an experienced and skilled Interior Projects Specialist to spearhead growth in our interior projects vertical. This role combines design knowledge, client advisory, and business development.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary advisor to clients on their workspace or interior needs.
  • Cultivate new business opportunities in office, workspaces, and other commercial interiors.
  • Provide tailored solutions, packages, and proposals that align with client budgets and timelines.
Design Knowledge & Pre-Sales Support:
  • Translate client requirements into actionable design briefs.
  • Discuss layouts, materials, finishes, and space optimization ideas confidently.
  • Collaborate with the in-house team to prepare concept boards, BOQs, and cost estimates.
Coordination & Delivery Oversight:
  • Handover projects to the in-house Project Manager and Design Team for execution.
  • Ensure clear communication between clients and internal teams.

The ideal candidate will have a degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field and 4–7 years of experience in interior projects, client advisory, or design-build sales. Strong relationship-building and consultative selling abilities, solid understanding of interiors, materials, and fit-out processes, excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to interpret and explain design/BOQs to clients, and a problem-solving, client-first mindset are essential.

Key Requirements:
  • Interior design degree or diploma.
  • 4–7 years of experience in interior projects, client advisory, or design-build sales.
  • Strong relationships building and consultative selling abilities.
  • Solid understanding of interiors, materials, and fit-out processes.
