Garment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our production department as a key member of our team. As a Garment Specialist, you will play a critical role in translating AI-generated clothing visuals into production-ready garment specifications.

Your primary responsibility will be to interpret AI-generated fashion designs into detailed technical packs with accurate measurements and construction guidelines. You will also develop specification sheets covering sizing, fabric type, seam construction, trims, and finishing techniques.

In collaboration with our pattern makers, production, and design teams, you will ensure the feasibility and manufacturability of every garment. You will establish quality control checkpoints across sampling and production stages, conduct inspections for measurements, workmanship, and finish during pre-production and post-production reviews.

Auditing in-house fabrics and trims is another crucial aspect of your role. You will approve only materials meeting our quality standards and set clear standard operating procedures (SOPs) for construction techniques across garments.

To succeed in this position, you should have 5+ years of experience in garment tech or production development in a fashion house or boutique. Strong technical expertise in fit, finishing, and fabric behavior is essential, along with prior experience working with Western wear or made-to-measure garments.

Additionally, you should be proficient in creating spec packs, sample reviews, and garment construction assessments. An eye for detail, precision in communication, and commitment to quality craftsmanship are also essential qualities for this role.
