We are seeking a talented lead to deliver roadmap features of our Enterprise TruRisk Platform, helping customers measure, communicate and eliminate cyber risks.

The Lead QA Automation Engineer will design, implement, document and maintain testing frameworks for core product capabilities using micro-services and big data based components. You will be responsible for the quality of these capabilities.

This is an opportunity to be an integral part of a team building our next generation platform using big data & micro-services based technology, processing over billions of transactions per day. You will leverage open-source technologies and work on challenging and business-impacting initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead automation efforts of the team to achieve maximum automation coverage.
  2. Developing automation framework using programming languages such as Java(Selenium) and automate big data workflows like ingestion, aggregation, ETL processing etc.
  3. Debugging and troubleshooting issues within the big data ecosystem.
  4. Set up the Big data platform and Hadoop ecosystem for testing.
  5. Define test strategy and write test plan for data platform enhancements and new features/services built on it.
  6. Define operating procedures, service monitors and alerts and work with the NOC team to get them implemented.
  7. Responsible for system & performance testing of the data platform and applications.
  8. Solve problems, establish plans, and provide technical consultation in the design, development, and test effort of complex engineering projects.
  9. Review product specifications and write test cases, develop test plans for assigned areas.
  10. Identifies issues and technical interdependencies and suggest possible solutions.
  11. Testing big data ingestion and aggregation flows using spark shell and related queries.
  12. Do end to end workflow automation using a framework.
  13. Contribute in Test Automation Development/Enhancement.
  14. Recreate complex customer and production reported issues to determine root cause and verify the fix.
  15. Should have automation first attitude to help reduce regression manual regression cycles.
  16. Should be able to lead a team of automation engineers to guide the team and achieve end--to-end API, UI and backend automation.
  17. Should be able to pinpoint manual efforts and should have the capability to automate them.
Requirements:
  1. 8-10 years of experience in full-time testing role and at least 4-6 years in hands-on automation role as lead.
  2. Hands on experience with Java and Selenium.
  3. Experience with building and designing automation frameworks.
  4. Hands on experience in automating backend applications (e.g., database, REST API's).
  5. Should have experience in integrating CI-CD pipelines for automation frameworks for ease of use.
  6. Hands on experience with automating any backend applications (e.g., database, server side).
  7. Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  8. Good debugging skills.
  9. Working experience working in Linux/Unix environment.
  10. Good to have experience on working with K8s.
  11. Good understanding of testing methodologies.
  12. Good to have hands on experience in working on Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Elastic.
  13. Experience in Security domain is an advantage.
