Senior Supply Chain Consultant

The Role

This is a key position that will play a critical role in driving our business forward by leading the implementation of SAP APO GATP across various locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand current business processes and identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with stakeholders and process leads to evaluate current business processes and turn them into system requirements.
  • Develop system functional specifications and support development teams during implementation phases with testing and quality documentation.
  • Deploy new and current systems, processes, and procedures in a cost-effective manner.
  • Configure system settings, plan, and execute unit, system, and integration tests, and lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems enhancements for APO GATP and SAP ECC SCM.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years' experience as an IT Business Analyst, IT Technical Analyst, SAP consultant, or SAP implementation project member, with a focus on SCM modules and mainly product allocation.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry best practices and terminology related to SCM.
  • Understanding of IT change processes and/or SAP solution delivery processes.
  • General understanding of supply chain and product allocation processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with global cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with full-cycle SAP implementation projects.

Desirable Skills

While not essential, it would be beneficial if you had experience with:

  • SAP Certifications on APO GATP and/or SAP ECC MRP.
  • SAP S4HANA implementations.
  • Warehousing, Transportation, Dangerous Goods, and Trade Compliance systems.
  • Global SAP implementation projects.
  • The Medical Technology sector.
