Civil Structural Engineer Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to various industrial projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with a focus on structural design, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing engineering support for industrial projects, including design, analysis, and testing
  • Coordinating with offshore teams and clients to ensure project deliverables meet requirements
  • Developing and maintaining technical knowledge and staying up-to-date with industry developments
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Design
  • At least 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis
  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g. ACI 318, ASCE, AISC, IBC)
  • Proficiency in structural design software (e.g. STAAD, SAFE, ETABS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience working in a similar role in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
  • Knowledge of modeling software (e.g. AutoCAD, PDMS, TEKLA)
