Job Title: Data Engineer

At the heart of our organization is a need for skilled data engineers who can design and develop scalable, high-performance data processing systems. We are seeking an exceptional individual with a strong background in software development and a passion for working with complex algorithms and data structures.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, or similar technologies. Proficiency in distributed processing technologies like Spark and Hive is essential. A good understanding of Kubernetes and its core components, along with expertise in cloud computing and containerization, will be highly valued.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop large-scale data processing systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and implement solutions.
  • Develop ETL processes and data pipelines using Hadoop and NoSQL databases.
  • Maintain and optimize data processing systems for reliability and scalability.

Additional qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field and professional certifications in cloud computing and data engineering. Experience working with big data technologies will also be considered.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, design patterns, data pipelines, and data warehousing.
  • Experience in distributed processing using Spark and Hive.
  • Strong hands-on experience in one or more programming languages.
  • Proficiency in cloud computing and containerization.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Professional certifications in cloud computing and data engineering.
  • Experience working with big data technologies.
