Core Banking Software Developer

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Core Banking Software Developer.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and experience working with Core Banking Platforms.

  • Develop and implement software solutions using Avaloq Banking System.
  • Maintain and improve existing software applications.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Banking, or equivalent experience.
  • 7-10 years of relevant working experience in the Technology space.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Core Banking Platform/Wealth Management domain.
  • Strong knowledge of Avaloq Banking System, including Accumulator/Deccumulator products and their lifecycle.
  • Experience with Avaloq IDE ICE and output stream development.
  • Familiarity with financial concepts, such as FX/MM/Equity/Derivatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Avaloq Certification training would be advantageous, as well as knowledge of market data and financial models. Experience with interfaces like Bloomberg/FIX protocol and programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, PL/SQL, Python, ReactJS, Angular, NodeJS, and Git would also be beneficial.
