Key Role: Data Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data engineering specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement dimensional and fact tables to support business intelligence (BI) initiatives.
  • Develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance data processing pipelines using various tools and technologies.
  • Maintain and optimize existing ETL workflows and mappings to ensure timely completion and availability of data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into well-defined data requirements.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues related to data integration, transformation, and loading.
  • Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of data governance processes to ensure data quality and integrity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in data warehousing, data engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong SQL background and experience with relational databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms like GCP, Google BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Composer, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Function, and GCS.
  • Experience with Informatica Power Exchange for Mainframe, Salesforce, and other data sources.
  • Excellent problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • AWS and Azure Cloud experience.
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Good understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum processes.
