  5. Analyze complex data engineering challenges and design effective solutions.">
  6. Implement data governance and security practices in cloud-based environments.">
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.">
  8. Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering.">
  9. Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on data engineering principles.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.">
  • At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, preferably in a cloud environment.">
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Hadoop and MapReduce.">
  • Strong working knowledge of Python, SQL and Airflow.">
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).">
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.">
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.">
  • Experience with data governance and security practices in cloud-based environments.">
  • Familiarity with databases like DB2 and Teradata.">
  • Knowledge of Spanner for high-availability, scalable database solutions.">
