EDI Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to support our business partners in electronic data interchange, leveraging IBM Sterling for seamless communication and collaboration.

  • Configure and maintain EDI solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and/or IBM Sterling File Gateway.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate EDI with Order Management Systems (OMS) for efficient order processing and optimal supply chain management.
  • Manage and support EDI mapping, translation, and communication processes with trading partners, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboard and test EDI connections with customers and external partners, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange.
  • Monitor and resolve EDI-related issues, including transmission errors and communication failures, and provide timely support to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement EDI strategies, aligning with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including EDI mapping specifications and system configurations, to ensure clear understanding and efficient implementation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with a strong foundation in programming languages, software development, and data structures.
  • Experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and/or IBM Sterling File Gateway, with a deep understanding of EDI standards, such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex EDI issues and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
