SQL Developer - Database Architect

We are seeking a skilled SQL developer to join our Finacle MIS team as a database architect.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL and the ability to work with complex queries and database structures.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  1. Database Design: Designing and executing SQL queries using various clauses such as WHERE, HAVING, GROUP BY, EXISTS, IN, WITH, UNION, UNION ALL, and JOIN.
  2. Query Optimisation: Writing and optimising SQL joins, subqueries, and Common Table Expressions (CTEs).
  3. Data Integrity: Implementing aggregate functions, indexing, partitioning, and window functions to improve query performance.
  4. Type Casting: Performing type casting and ensuring data integrity across different database operations.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborating with team members to analyse data requirements and develop effective data solutions.

The skill sets required for the role are:

  • Proficiency in SQL, including joins, subqueries, and CTEs.
  • Strong understanding of SQL clauses (WHERE, HAVING, GROUP BY, EXISTS, IN, WITH, UNION, UNION ALL, JOIN).
  • Experience with aggregate functions, indexing, partitioning, and window functions.
  • Knowledge of type casting in SQL.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to data analysis and solutions.

  • Unix Operations System
