Job Title: Frontend Developer

Key Responsibilities

  • Main Tasks: Design, develop and maintain responsive web applications using Angular.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centric solutions.
  • Data Integration: Integrate UI components with Oracle or other relational databases via APIs and backend services.
  • API Development: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between the UI and backend systems.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployment.
  • Cloud Services: Leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms, including S3 storage services.
  • Version Control: Use Git for version control, branching, and code reviews.
  • Task Management: Manage and track development tasks in agile project management tools.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure applications meet high standards of security, performance, and compliance within the financial domain.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in Angular development (Angular 8+ preferred).
  • Tech Skills: Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive design principles.
  • Data Experience: Experience with Oracle or other RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and integration best practices.
  • Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud services, including S3 storage services.
  • Git Experience: Proficiency in Git and familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • API Experience: Experience integrating RESTful APIs into Angular applications.
  • Agile Experience: Experience with Agile methodologies and task tracking tools like Jira.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Microservices Architecture: Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API integration best practices.
  • Containerization: Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Testing Frameworks: Experience with automated testing frameworks for Angular applications.
  • Security Requirements: Understanding of security and compliance requirements in financial applications.
