Research Fellow - Climate Change

We are seeking a highly qualified Research Fellow to join our team at the Center for Climate Change and Energy Transition.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in conducting in-depth research and data analysis for focus areas such as climate change, energy transition, economy, trade, and geopolitics. They will be responsible for providing evidence-based insights to inform global climate policies.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to cutting-edge research and collaborate with experts from various fields.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting In-Depth Research: Design and conduct research projects on climate change, energy transition, and related topics.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data from various sources to support research initiatives.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues and partners to develop analytical research reports, policy papers, discussion papers, and articles.
  • Project Management: Oversee projects and discussions, including planning, budget management, and coordination responsibilities.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Masters or PhD in a Relevant Field: A master's degree in engineering, energy economics, or a related field is required. A PhD in the given domain is an advantage.
  • 13+ Years of Work Experience: The ideal candidate should have at least 13 years of experience in research, analysis, and project management.
  • Strong Analytical and Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and ability to work/lead as part of a team.
