Job OpportunityRole Title: Finance Intern

This is not a typical internship. As a Finance Intern, you will collaborate closely with our founder, overseeing core finance operations, ensuring financial discipline, and contributing to strategic decision-making.

You'll take ownership of tasks such as bookkeeping, bills management, GST filings, and cash flow optimization. Additionally, you'll shadow our founder on growth, business strategy, and investor-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Finance Operations:
    • Manage end-to-end bookkeeping, track bills receivable/payable, and oversee invoice management
    • GST filings, tax return filings, and statutory compliances as applicable
    • Cash flow management and cost optimization tracking
    • Financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling
    • Expense reporting, reconciliations, and building scalable financial systems
  • Growth & Strategy:
    • Shadow the founder in high-level meetings, fundraising conversations, and strategy discussions
    • Support market analysis, pricing strategy, and business growth initiatives
    • Create board-level decks, reports, and dashboards to support decision-making
  • Analytics & Reporting:
    • Develop advanced financial models and dashboards
    • Analyze KPIs, cost structures, and growth levers using Google Sheets/Excel and Power BI (or similar tools)
Requirements
  • CA Inter/CS/MBA Finance or equivalent qualifications
  • Strong financial acumen with hands-on expertise in bookkeeping, compliance, and FP&A
  • Advanced skills in Google Sheets/Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
  • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics tools is a strong advantage
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable with early-stage startup chaos
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunger to learn and grow rapidly
