Database Infrastructure Specialist Job Description

Job Overview:

The Database Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for the daily administration of database infrastructure. This includes ensuring high availability, performance, and security of databases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on experience in PostgreSQL/MongoDB/SQL Server Database Administration and Maintenance in Windows/Linux Environment with proficiency in backups, restore, user management, securing the database environment.
  • Working experience in configuring master/slave replication with failovers and recovery scenarios.
  • Experience with on-prem to cloud database migration.
  • Experience with working on cloud environments (Preferably AWS).
  • Hands-on experience with Upgrade, Patching and Maintenance of PostgreSQL/MongoDB/SQL Server databases
  • Good experience in performance tuning of SQL Server/PostgreSQL/MongoDB database environment.
